A grant agreement was signed between the oil company Gulf and World Learning regarding the expansion of the Global UGRAD exchange program. The event was held at the Gulf headquarters and was attended by US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan and Cultural Attaché Christopher Anderson. As a result of Gulf's financial support, the number of Global UGRAD exchange program will be doubled, and from next year, 10 undergraduate students from Georgia will go to study in America every year.

Global UGRAD is a one-semester exchange program for Georgian undergraduate students and allows them to study at US universities. The program includes pre-academic English language training, academic courses, professional development seminars and cultural activities.
